Privacy Policy

This policy explains how VividPlan handles personal information when you visit vividplan.app, create an account, use the Service, or contact us.

We collect information directly from you, automatically when you use VividPlan, and from providers you choose to use with the Service, such as Google for sign-in and Stripe for payments.

1. What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, sign-in information, and preferences.
• Your content: drawings, floor plans, elevations, photographs, reference images, annotations, prompts, projects, and generated images.
• Billing details: your plan, subscription and transaction records, and Stripe customer details. Stripe processes your full payment-card details; we do not store them.
• Usage information: pages and features used, referring source, browser and device information, cookie or browser-storage identifiers, and technical or security logs.
• Communications: support requests, feedback, and email preferences.

2. How we use it

We use this information to provide and secure VividPlan, process images, manage accounts and payments, provide support, send service and optional product emails, understand how the product is used, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with law.

We do not sell personal information or customer content. We do not use customer content to train our own general-purpose AI models.

3. Service providers

We share relevant information only where needed to operate VividPlan, including with:

• Supabase for sign-in, databases, and file storage;
• Google when you choose Google sign-in;
• Replicate and its model providers to process prompts and images and produce outputs;
• Stripe for payments and fraud prevention;
• Vercel for hosting;
• PostHog for product analytics;
• Resend for email delivery; and
• Geoapify when you use address autocomplete.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect VividPlan and its users, or as part of a genuine sale or reorganisation of the business.

4. Storage, overseas processing, and security

Our primary database and file storage are hosted in Australia. Some providers and their subprocessors operate in the United States and other countries, so information may be processed outside Australia.

We use reasonable safeguards such as access controls, encrypted connections, and private customer file storage. No online service can guarantee complete security.

5. Retention and your choices

We keep information while your account is active and for as long as reasonably needed for support, security, billing, legal, or operational purposes. Deleted information may remain temporarily in backups or provider logs.

You can update available account details and email preferences, download or delete projects and renders using product controls, or ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information by emailing support@vividplan.app. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where permitted or required by law.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and browser storage for sign-in, preferences, payments, and analytics. PostHog stores an anonymous identifier in first-party browser storage, does not set a VividPlan analytics cookie, and is linked to your account identifier after sign-in. VividPlan analytics respect supported Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. See our Cookie Policy.

7. Questions and complaints

Contact support@vividplan.app with any privacy question, request, or complaint. We will respond within a reasonable period.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will post the new version and effective date here.
