VividPlan ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at vividplan.app. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and any display name you provide.

Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.

Uploaded content: Images you upload (sketches, floor plans, elevations) and the renders we generate from them are stored in your account.

Usage data: We collect anonymous analytics (pages visited, features used) via PostHog to improve the product. This does not include your designs or personal data.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide the rendering service and manage your account
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets)
  • To improve the product based on anonymous usage patterns

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your uploaded designs to train AI models.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure, encrypted servers. Uploaded images and renders are stored in private cloud storage accessible only to your account. We use industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with the services needed to operate VividPlan:

  • Supabase — authentication and database
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • PostHog — anonymous product analytics
  • Vercel — hosting

We do not share your designs, renders, or personal information with anyone else.

5. Your Rights

You can:

  • Access, update, or delete your account data at any time from your settings
  • Export or download your renders at any time
  • Request full deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing support@vividplan.app

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data, uploaded images, and generated renders within 30 days.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or via a notice on the website.
